Update: August was not a good month, to put it lightly. There were nearby wildfires. There was everything in Afghanistan, where my family has ties, and where friends are now trapped. It was difficult to focus on getting much art done, though I did manage to finish 3 more pages of Chapter 1, I fell behind where I hoped I would be, and I need to re-assess my time frame for finishing it.
I made a list here of trusted charities devoted to helping Afghans. Plus I’ve made the following charity prints available on Etsy, one for Afghans and one for local fire victims. 100% of proceeds go to charity!

To recap what was said on the last page: the current comic is going on hiatus while Chapter 1 is redrawn. The new Chapter 1 pages will be posted on Patreon (for all levels) as they’re finished. Once the chapter is completed, it will be posted here publicly. Page 1×04 was posted yesterday. Thank you new patrons who joined this week, it is very encouraging!
This week I’ll finalize my thumbnail sketches of Chapter 1 so that I’m able to calculate roughly how long it will be before Chapter 21 starts up.
