I hope American(?) people had a nice Thanksgiving!
This year I am most thankful for my mom. Yesterday was her birthday, first of all. But also, she got in a scary car accident on Monday. It was just around the corner, so I ran and got to the scene just before a group of firemen cut the driver door open (The whole left side of the car was smashed in). My roommate got in an accident at that same intersection last year, and the owner of the house on that corner was upset and saying car crashes happen there all the time. I rode to the hospital in the ambulance with her and the fam spent half the day there while she got checked out. She’s really sore but it could have been a lot worse.
Also thankful for Novolog, the insulin. I finally am switching back to it from Humalog cause new insurance! I couldn’t tell the difference between the insulin itself, but boooooyyyyyyyyyy, are the Humalog KwikPens poorly made. I’d be giving myself a shot and it would get stuck half way through so I had no idea how much medicine I actually got, or the whole mechanism just breaks when you’re out and about and you need it. Do not recommend. Novolog pens are much preferred.
Lastly, I am so thankful for the patrons on Patreon! The Silver Eye wouldn’t be possible without you!
