Meme Contest

Some very heavy stuff has come up this week.  I will talk about it later, but I still want to do the meme contest, because some levity and normalcy would be nice.

So let us have a meme contest. Dank memes are okay, inappropriate memes are a no go. Post the meme in the comments. You can also post on: the Facebook page, and Tumblr in ‘the silver eye’ tag and/or the ‘nerdarian’ tag.

I’ll pick my favorite of the memes and the winner will get a 11×17 poster of the Novalog (either the day or night version). Two second-favorite winners will get a double-sided Novalog postcard. I will ship internationally. You can enter as many memes as you would like. Deadline is Thursday 19th.

So, that last page, uh, it wasn’t the opening of a scene. It was the scene.

I don’t think I can update next week because I have a bunch of official-book-illustration-commissions with upcoming deadlines, so I’m just going to try and finish them all and get them out of the way. I thought about skipping this week, but then I would feel bad leaving you guys on the cliffhanger of last page and then coming back to a different scene. I mean, I felt bad getting your hopes up anyway, but it would’ve been worse after waiting an extra week. 😛

I want to do something with the Nerdarians in the interim like a mini challenge or contest, but I don’t know what. Feel free to throw out ideas.

I shaded this page in black and white and then colored it afterwards to see if that would save time. My tablet driver quit working half way through so I cannot tell if that was a success or not.
