Is this page a week late or a day early? You decide.

Finally home from all my travels! I went from being in Chicago where it was winter, to being in Seattle where it was wet and chilly, to being in Virginia where it’s 90 degrees fahrenheit for some reason, and it’s messing with my perception of time and reality. You can see my doodles from the trip on Instagram.

I now have 9 clients, 14 commissions, and 28 characters in those commissions to juggle. I’m quite overwhelmed but also crazy excited. A lot of them are bigger commissions with entities that at least some of you are familiar with *wink*.

One of my favorite parts of the graduation trip was getting to sit down with my dad, along with my siblings who are usually spread out across the states, and having a nice philosophical conversation about Jordan Peterson’s book/lectures. I’ve been considering this recently and I think I would put Peterson in my top 10 favorite/influential authors along with Chesterton and Lewis. He’d be toward the bottom, there’s places I disagree with him, but for someone living to even be in that same category is rare. Getting to see him speak in person the day after I got back was incredible. I feel like I’m in that place of meaning that he talks about, between order and chaos, where everything starts lining up. These next couple weeks are going to be difficult and busy, but it feels worthwhile. 🙂 [Spoilers] His cameo is only two pages away. The scene was so close to happening at the same time as his talk! But yeah, we’ll get some Avidandan time soon.

I sketched a bunch of Q & A comics while I was on the road, so I’ll try to format them and get them up when I can!
