2018 Calendars have been ordered! I’ll post where you can buy them in the next few days. I’m planning to give Patreons early access and a discount. It’s going to be sold through Etsy this year and I also have a ton of prints, plus post cards, and pins, and pillows, that I’m going to sell as well! I’m very excited for it!
Thank you readers SO MUCH for nominating and voting for panels. Last month I honestly didn’t know if I’d be able to make a calendar this year because I didn’t have much new TSE paintings this year. I’m so happy it worked out and you were a big help in making it happen!
After my cataract surgery, scar tissue/membrane grew back around the lenses of my eyes and I had/have to get it shot out with lasers to clear it. This means that normally I’m seeing through a pinhole, and sometimes the membrane gets shaken loose and encroaches on my vision. I don’t know if my insulin is bad or if I’m being diabetically incompetent all of a sudden or if I’m getting sick, but my bloodsugar has been running so high recently for reasons I cannot pin down. That’s caused the membrane to shift so now the vision in my right eye is about half what it was last week. Sometimes the membrane settles on its own, sometimes I have to go in for a laser procedure again. Anyway, I wanted to share that because 1) I find it interesting and 2) I don’t know how it is affecting my art cause everything looks pretty foggy at the moment.
If you had a Thanksgiving, I hope you had a fun one! I know I did. I am thankful for my left eye, it is a trooper, unlike that weak other one. At the dinner table I said I was thankful for The Silver Eye readers and my sister Amy was like, “You’re thankful for the Civil War leaders??!” and well, I am thankful for those as well, but they do not compare to you, dear nerdarians.
