Here is redraw pages 2×05 – 2×06!
- Ansam was in the story when I drew the original pages, but I reasoned that he was hanging out where Apen set up camp elsewhere. I think it was just an excuse to not draw a horse.
- Reverend Terpsi was wearing a pretty reverend-looking outfit before, but I decided to go ahead and give him a collar to make it more obvious. I mean, Apen’s wearing all black because he’s in mourning, Terpsi’s old outfit could easily be confused for mourning garb. Now there’s no doubt he’s clergy of some sort, though I know a good portion of people will assume he’s a Catholic priest. That’s ok, it’ll be clarified sometime in the story.
- I changed the “pile of rocks” to “plot for your grave” to suggest that this is a death sentence for Apen. I also managed to namedrop weavers and Cedulan in there.
With this redraw, there’s a lot more useful info packed into about half the panels, and it’s really satisfying to me.
