EDIT 7/17/2025: This week is madness with my mom here. My oldest brother and nieces spontaneously drove up from SoCal and we got an Airbnb in the mountains and are going horseback riding. It is all super last minute. I don’t know when I’ll have time to draw, and if I do, I really need to use it towards commissions. I’m leaning towards skipping this week. I’ll put a sketch of the next page up for the $5-$10 level Patreon supporters, though.
Also, I signed up to be a vendor at Colfax Railroad Days September 13th and 14th if anyone is near this neck of the woods in California! I had a very fun time when I did it 2 years ago and will have original paintings for sale.

My health was bad this week and I did not have the energy for a page this complicated but IT IS DONE!
I posted in the community chats at the $10 level, but I GOT MY INSULIN PUMP! It came yesterday and part of the page being late was working through training videos and getting it set up. (Did you see the announcement for a Barbie with an insulin pump this week? I think it’s hilarious she got one before me!)
Since I was having so much trouble refilling my old pump supplies I had decided to just upgrade to the newer version of it. This one communicates with my Continuous Glucose Monitor, and automatically adjusts the level of insulin it gives me to help it stay more stable. I started it today and my sugars went from erratic to fairly stable very quickly.
I am really looking forward to having energy again 🥲
I know a lot of readers prayed for my family’s Afghan friends who got caught up in the Taliban takeover. One of them had a hearing this week in the US and was granted asylum! We are very relieved and grateful that she’s finally safe.
