Edit: Thank you so much everyone who voted for my cover in the Clean Fiction Magazine contest! It won 1st place!

Lots of things with varying levels of seriousness:

The 2024 Calendar pre-orders are open! This year’s calendar will mostly feature my art I’ve made for the daily drawing prompts. I still have a few more artworks I need to do. I will update as they’re finished. Calendars will be sent to the printer Friday the 24th, so order by then if you would like one for sure! I haven’t been super active on social media lately, so I could use help spreading word about it.

The Silver Eye Secret Santa 2023 sign-ups are open! (I made a new Aperlyne art for the banner that doubles as December’s art in the calendar) Info is here on Deviantart and you can join there or on Tumblr. This is always one of the highlights of my year!

Last week, I took Gwladys to work on page 23×24 at the river and I’m glad we went then because she spent Wednesday at the vet after a cyst ruptured. She now wears a Cone of Shame and looks like Doug from Up. She should be okay as long as it doesn’t get infected. The estimated vet bill was steep. Thankfully it came out less, but it was still a couple hundred dollars and I am ever grateful to supporters on Patreon who help ease unexpected expenses like that.

Lastly,

A few weeks ago, my cousin, Michael, passed away. It came out of nowhere and was very shocking. His funeral is next week and I have a lot of family coming to town for it. He was about my age. He had a very Enel-like personality. His absence just feels very wrong. He has a mom and dad and two brothers. His mom, Susan, is a sweetheart. One of his brother’s, James, is going to get married soon and now won’t have Michael by his side. My heart especially breaks for them.
