I just found out this was entered because I was browsing the voting page and was like, “Wait, that’s ME!”
This is one of my favorite book covers I’ve done! It has hand-drawn illustration. I had so much fun planning out the lighting and perspective for it. I tried to evoke old-school spookiness with the design in general. I’ve loved working with Samantha Esposito because she comes to me with subject matter that lets me branch out beyond my typical fantasy work.
