For all Patreon supporters, I have been posting portraits of characters from the Wingfeather Saga! They’ll be public after I complete the set and have them available on Etsy, but the first three are already up for supporters.
Last week I mentioned looking forward to metal detecting around here, and… within the first hour I found an eagle hat plate from a Marine uniform that is from the 1830s-1840s. That is older than California as a part of the United States, my friends. I also found an insulator from 1884 that is likely from the telegraph lines that used to run along the transcontinental railroad. I expect I will be digging a lot more in the near future. I am a little excited.
