Let the comment party commence! Comment parties are just when people are on at the same time. Comments don’t have to be strictly TSE related, but they do have to follow the other commenting guidelines. Previously, comment parties just went on until they petered out but this time will be a bit different—comments will close around 2k, so try to make ’em count!

From mod Siena—Here are some handy rules of thumb to keep in mind:

– Thoughtful content. Make sure your posts contribute to actual conversation. (i.e. don’t just rack up the number of comments just for the sake of it, write posts with no real content, etc.) On the other hand, quickie posts are fine if they are actually part of a conversation (Like “I agree!” or “Haha, good one!”)
– In the spirit of the above, we avoid lyric chains, quote chains, one-word-at-a-time stories, etc.
– Try to participate in at least a little TSE conversation. Other topics are encouraged too, but let’s not forget Laura pays for this site so fans can interact with her work, so they least we can do is have a little story-focused talk.
– Kindness always… but why am I even bothering telling you that? We never have trouble that way! TSE attracts kind fans, I think. Keep it up.
– If Laura deigns to drop any spoilers as a treat for the commenters (and there’s no guarantee she will!) you’re bound by secrecy after they’re deleted. 😉
