2020 Calendar news! This years calendar will consist of my Yosemite drawings and paintings. I am doing a campaign on IndieGoGo for it, which should launch next week. I’ll have a tier where you can get an original marker sketch of a character from The Silver Eye and also bundles of The Silver Eye postcards. One of the reasons I have held back on printing TSE is because crowdfunding campaigns are very daunting, so I thought the calendars this year would make for a good test run!

I’ve been doing grown up things lately. Over the long weekend I went on a road trip with my parents to look at houses in four different states because I don’t know where I’ll be living come next year. This is an instance where working online isn’t terribly helpful because I could go anywhere which leaves open too many options. I did find a little house I would die for, but I don’t know if it will work out. I just want to be a hobbit on a mountain.

I’m giving insulin pumps another try. I didn’t like the one I had a decade ago, but now there are continuous blood sugar monitors that connect to them, and that’s too promising to pass up. I can barely feel what my blood sugar is doing anymore and it is time to admit that I need help of the robots. It would be so nice to have stabilized blood sugars again and I’m hoping it’ll help me have more focus and productivity.
