Yeah, so this is a dream. I was never a fan of dream scenes in stories where they try to trick you until the moment the character wakes up. Mostly because the writers would stick crazy stuff into the dream that would never happen in an actual scene and so it’s easy to catch on that it’s not really happening. (The worst is when they kill off all the characters in a dream… Totally gives it away.)
The background is Velvare’s study in the library and the amphitheater from chapter 8/9 overlayed on top of each other (because of reasons). I actually stuck their models together like that in SketchUp and turned the surfaces to x-ray. I am fancy like that.
